Education Reform & Advocacy

Over the last decade, the Citizens' Commission on Civil Rights has been one of a handful of organizations that has had a profound influence on federal education reform designed to provide opportunity for poor children, minority children, limited English proficiency children and children with disabilities.

The Citizens' Commission has been intimately involved in virtually every aspect of the federal drive for education reform. Over the coming years, the Commission will continue to use its extensive knowledge of the substance of reform and its wide network of contacts to contribute to successful implementation of the new law.
